Job Description
Summary: Seeking a GPS Field Test Engineer with experience in precision agriculture product and equipment operation, test plan creation, software development life cycle, and system requirements verification testing.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of precision agriculture product and equipment operation experience.
Experience with test plan creation and execution.
Minimum 1 year of experience with software development life cycle and reporting/tracking software defects.
Experience with validation and/or verification testing of system requirements and regression-level testing.
Any experience operating AG or heavy equipment - ability to drive equipment is a big plus.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Agricultural Systems Technology, or Agriculture Engineering related field.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with GNSS Receiver testing.
Experience with CAN communication.
Experience troubleshooting Hardware related issues.
Experience with Agile Software Development methodology.
Familiarity with software tools such as Microsoft Project, Team Foundation Server (TFS), or Rally.
Responsibilities:
Provide Software Engineering Test and Verification for line of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers.
Perform product verification and validation activities in lab environment and on various Ag vehicles via manual and automated test setups.
-Frequent local travel to the Test Farm for performing Field Test cases for Receiver validation.
Pay Details: $27.00 to $36.00 per hour
