Deere & Company is seeking a Product Verification and Validation Engineer– Component Test in Waterloo, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Agriculture Sciences or related field plus 4 years related experience. Required skills: Utilize Product Engineering tool to develop, execute, and document tractor Verification and Validation activities (3 yrs); Utilize CREO design software to design test fixtures and improve existing test fixture designs (2 yrs); Make use of test experience and results to provide design improvement recommendations (2 yrs); Utilize DeweSoft data acquisition tool (2 yrs); Utilize I-Test control software while executing tractor Verification and Validation activities (2 yrs); Utilize data analysis software including nCode, Glyphworks, and DIAdem to analyze the data collected in the test labs (3 yrs); Utilize Communication and Organizational tools including the Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Word to develop, execute, and document tractor Verification and Validation activities (3 yrs); Interpret off-road vehicle customer data to define tests, test plans, and acceptance criteria. Customer data includes hard data from customer machines, as well as subjective data from customer research groups (3 yrs). 10% domestic and international travel required.
