We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Remediation Manager!
Pratt & Whitney's Digital Technology (DT) Cyber Security & Risk Management organization is searching for a Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) professional to join their SOX Program Team. This team audits in-scope applications which power P&W's Commercial and Military OEM and Aftermarket network, which includes engine assembly, engine overhaul, part repair, line maintenance and engine fleet management. The role is pivotal in assuring SOX compliance for P&W Digital Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide risk, control and SOX expertise educating, promoting control awareness, overseeing and facilitating P&W DT management's effort to comply with SOX
  • In coordination with the DT SOX Associate Director, develop the SOX annual audit plan
  • Perform controls technical interpretation and applicability, control documentation and test of design
  • Coordinate and monitor completion of all SOX requirements
  • Coordinate, execute and monitor testing activities in accordance to SOX guidelines
  • Coordinate and review evidence related to external auditor requests
  • Identify, analyze, manage and report SOX audit gaps/findings and support remediation efforts
  • Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with control owners, technical and functional team members, business partners and external auditors
  • Be versed in the systems and teams involved with DT compliance controls to effectively speak to the applicability of the controls, drive remediation and collaborate in defining solutions that drive the business objectives without compromising the effectiveness of the controls
  • Report SOX Program status and metrics to all levels of management
  • Modest domestic and international travel (<10%) may be required

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Business, Finance, Law/Compliance, or Audit and 8+ years of experience in Audit, Compliance or Sarbanes Oxley; OR an Advanced Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Business, Finance, Law/Compliance, or Audit and 5+ years of experience in Audit, Compliance or Sarbanes Oxley
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen - this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CISA, CISSP, PMP, ITIL 4 are preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Comfortable presenting findings to stakeholders

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
