The Golf Shop Attendant provides customer service and assists with the daily operations in a golf pro shop.
ResponsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically requires a high school diploma and 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Performs work under direct supervision.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates a cash register and credit card machines to process transactions.
- Answers customer's questions about merchandise and provides information pertaining to the course.
- Assists with tracking inventory and restocking store merchandise including clubs balls tees and other golf equipment or apparel.
- Organizes merchandise so that the store is in presentable condition.
- Collects fees from players for each round of golf played and initiates discounts and or promotions for tee times as approved.
