SalaryOverview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Shop Assistant. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the shop. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development. Duties: - Assist customers with their inquiries and provide exceptional service - Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop - Stock shelves and merchandise displays - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register - Answer phone calls and handle customer inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy - Assist in inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise - Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs - Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers - Perform other duties as assigned Skills: - Strong technical sales skills to effectively promote products to customers - Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish is a plus - Proficient in cash handling procedures and operating a cash register - Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and well-stocked shop - Customer service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of phone etiquette for professional communication with customers We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
