Job Description
The Golf Maintenance secretary provides support to the Director of Agronomy. As the Department’s first point of contact in many instances, this position requires the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality. This includes professional attire, a friendly, upbeat attitude, the ability to uphold professional standards and a courteous, service oriented demeanor.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides support to Director and department managers with daily office needs
- Responsible for answering phone and some departmental email correspondence
- Processes departmental invoices and payroll
- Performs general office work such as record-keeping and ordering inventory for office, breakroom, maintenance operation, and safety program
- Creates office bulletins, and announcements for employee breakroom
- Provides administrative support to department managers as needed
- Special projects or other duties assigned as needed
REQUIRED TRAITS/SKILLS:
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and pleasant demeanor a must
- Proficient with MS Office products to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to take initiative and take on new responsibilities as they arise
Schedule
16 – 24 Hours a Week
This is a seasonal position at the moment with potential to be year round.
Start Date: April 15
Salary Range and Benefits
$18.00 an hour
