About the Club
Raleigh Golf Association (RGA) has 27 holes of golf, 18 holes are public and 9 holes are private (open to Stockholders, Members on designated days & times, designated golf leagues, and tournaments). These 27 holes provide unique challenges for all level of golfer experience. RGA is “walker-friendly”, with minimal distances from green-to-tee. RGA first opened in 1929 making it the oldest public course in the area. A very busy course with 50,000+ rounds a year

Responsibilities
• Brings golf cars from car shelter to car staging area outside Golf Pro Shop
• Checks golf cars for tire pressure, brake operation and other safety considerations.
• Returns golf cars to car shelter; removes all trash.
• Checks cars for damage; washes golf car with pressure cleaner; parks car in shelter and connects charger cable.
• Advises Golf Pro Shop of clubs found on the course and destined for the lost and found.
• Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club’s rental equipment.
• Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Golf Professional staff.
Qualifications
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
• Knowledgeable about the game of golf and its rules.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
Licenses and Special Requirements
• Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat.
• Must be able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
• Frequent repetitive motions.
• Continuous standing and walking.
