GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Under basic supervision, assures a smooth transition for guests onto and from the course. Ensures efficiency of cart loading, cart cleanliness, staging, and storing. Assists with other day to day operations around the golf course.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Works under the supervision of the Assistant Golf Professional and the indirect supervision of the Golf Professional.

Minimum Qualifications/Special Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 16 years of age or older.
- Some experience working with the public.
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent preferred.
- Some experience working on a golf course preferred, but not required.
- Any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
- Possess a valid Arizona state driver's license or ability to obtain one upon hire.

- Greets guests, provide prompt, courteous and friendly customer services. Assists guest with questions.
- Ensures practice range is open and ready for players, clean and fill range baskets and dispensers; preforms daily range ball recovery; washes golf balls to maintain their cleanliness and usability.
- Fuels and stages carts for the day ensuring are ready and available for players; cleans and stores cart at the end of each day.
- Maintain order and continuity of player traffic; reinforces established course rules.
- Tracks and reports the need for supplies.
- Keeps work areas attractive, neat and clean free of trash.
- Follows procedures for proper opening and closing the cart and range operations.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this job to ensure continuity.
- May be required to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
- May be required to assist with tournaments, special events and other department programs and activities where needed.
- Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies and procedures; follows safety policies and practices, works in a safe manner, and reports unsafe activity and conditions.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Performs special assignments as requested.

Demonstrated skill in dealing tactfully and courteously with guests, and providing positive and friendly customer service; operation of Golf Carts and related equipment.

Understand and follow directions given by supervisor; Communicate clearly; Use equipment and tools properly and safely; Maintain clean and orderly work area; Adapt to changing work priorities; Interpret rules, regulations, and policies and apply knowledge; Participate in set-up, break down and close of a tournament or special event, which may include site prep, rearranging moving furniture and equipment.
