Job Description:

The Golf Beverage Cart/ Snack Bar Attendant assists members/guests with their food and beverage needs while on the golf course, as well as maintaining the snack bar and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities:

1. Sale of Food and Beverage to Members/Guests.
2. Preparation of Perishable Food Items (Hamburgers/Hot Dogs).
3. General Inventory of Snack Bar for stocking purposes.
4. Cleaning and Upkeep of Snack Bar Facility/Equipment.
5. Daily Cash Handling Procedures.
6. Tracking and accurately accounting for daily sales.

Qualifications:

•  Must have a valid California Driver’s license.
• Must have a valid Food Handler’s Certification.
• Must have a flexible Schedule, must be able to work holidays/weekends.
• Knowledge of Golf Preferred.
• Bartending/Food Service Experience a plus.
• Must have Outgoing/Positive personality.
• Cash Handling Experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must be at least 21 years old

  

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.  Ability clearly communicate your ideas to Senior Leadership or large audiences.  Ability to work independently with little supervision.  Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.  Ability to work in a team environment and understand various points of view.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift 30-45lbs.

Occasional bending and lifting

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

Indoor/Outdoor. Applicant will spend most of their time inside the actual Snack Bar, but will required to go outside when cleaning and organizing the Snack Bar area. They will be exposed to heat, cold, and possibly fumes from the gas grill.

Beverage Cart attendant will spend 90% of their day outdoors and could be exposed to cold or warm weather.

 

Pay Rate: 15.50/hr
