General Purpose:
Provides a convenient method for members and guests to obtain food and beverage items while out on the course. Creates memorable dining experiences through prompt, efficient, and professional interactions.
Essential Duties:
- Ensures the Beverage Cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course.
- Stocks and maintain cleanliness of the Beverage Cart throughout the day.
- Demonstrate knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
- Stay informed about all applicable liquor laws and adhere to standard operating procedures provided by management.
- Attend to guests promptly, efficiently, and in a personalized manner.
- Serve food and beverage items to guests on the course.
- Responds to customer inquiries regarding general facility information.
- Reviews daily schedules, calendar of events, and club activities.
- Accountable for all transactions through the Point-of-Sale system (Toast)
- Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director of Food and Beverage, Chef or Manager on duty.
- Ensures a safe work environment and always follows safety protocols.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bartending experience a plus.
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches; talks or hears. Occasionally sits; climbs or balances. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions, in extreme heat and in areas near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works in high precarious places, near fumes or airborne particles, near toxic or caustic chemicals and in extreme cold (non-weather). Occasionally risks electrical shock. Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
- Valid Driver’s License Required;
- ServSafe Certified (Food Manager & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
