Who you are
We are looking for a swashbuckling entrepreneur to join our team as the General Manager, Programmatic. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our programmatic products and driving their success. InMarket's award winning commerce media solutions leverage our unique location, purchase, and item level data to deliver superior results for brands, agencies and publishers. Help shape the future of our company that is helping our clients discover new opportunities, engage desired audiences and optimize their media effectiveness.
Responsibilities
As the General Manager, Programmatic, you are responsible for leading our high-growth business line, including P&L ownership to meet revenue and profitability targets. Leveraging resources from product, marketing, sales, and tech, you will lead the growth and success for Fortune 500 clients and beyond.
Your key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing the programmatic business strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Approving the product roadmap to drive customer success, differentiation and support our revenue goals.
  • Track the critical business line KPIs associated with the volume, velocity and value of our sales.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, product development and client-facing teams to execute the go-to-market strategy for our programmatic business.
  • Lead, manage and develop our existing high-performing teams, as well as partnering across a matrix organization.
  • Support sales teams in client meetings, pricing, packaging and go-to-market discussions.
  • Translate industry trends, market needs and changes among the competitive landscape into actionable plans for further innovation and differentiation.
  • Make things happen quickly and efficiently.

Experience and Expertise
  • Experience owning an innovative product portfolio while increasing revenue and profitability
  • Strong background in building revenue-generating programmatic products
  • Deep understanding of online and offline data, and its impact on improving outcomes for marketers and publishers
  • Experience in managing SaaS (software-as-a-service) solutions and APIs to support partner driven sales for programmatic products.
  • Domain expertise in marketing technology and advertising technology industries.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting business plans, articulating strategy and working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of how to bring a product to market, including product, pricing, packaging, positioning, competitive assessment, channel development, etc.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing and prototype development
  • Ability to prioritize and manage trade-offs while maintaining alignment on business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Certified sense of humor is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management and leading product teams

For candidates in California, Colorado, and New York City, the Targeted Base Salary Range for this role is $226,194 to $250,000
Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, specialized skills and training, performance in role, business needs, and job requirements. Base salary is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Base salary is just one component of InMarket's total rewards package that also may include bonus, equity, and benefits.
