Global Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist

Overview

Our Global Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist Contractor to support the recruiting function within the office of Human Resources. This specialist position is responsible for providing offer administration and onboarding and orientation support for new hires, responding to recruitment related inquiries and ensuring overall compliance with recruitment processes and policies. This role would also assist with creating end user documentation and supporting training efforts, coordinating outreach activities, and budget related activities and support to the Director, Global Talent Acquisition Operations. This role will have significant engagement opportunities with prospective candidates, new hires, hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Partners.

 

This role will be based in our Research Triangle Park, NC office or can be remote. It will report to the Director, Global Talent Acquisition Operations.

 

Responsibilities

• Recruitment Support: supporting domestic and global hiring which includes initiating, and reviewing background checks, providing information and assistance to candidates, administering offer letters and employment contracts, and providing onboarding assistance to new hires.
• New Hire Orientation Program Support: facilitating weekly power point presentations to cover orientation material and the coordination of notifications to attendees, managers, making logistical arrangements, and processing new hire paperwork such as I-9 forms using the eVerify system.
• Recruiting Resource Management: maintenance of new hire checklists, email templates, content page updates repository on MS SharePoint teams page, Applicant Tracking System and intranet sites, organize recruiting process related materials.
• System administration Support: processing new user set up requests, answering general inquiries regarding applicant tracking system, provide facilitator assistance during user training sessions on system usage and recruitment practices, support user acceptance testing during system upgrades and offer troubleshooting assistance, perform data entry as needed.
• Budget Management & Coordination: reconciling corporate card usage, ordering supplies, initiating, and renewing purchase orders and completing travel and expense reports as tasked.
• Administrative/Operational/Compliance Support: performing tasks such as sending reminders to Talent Acquisition Partners to complete compliance activities, coordinating meeting preparation/scheduling, taking of meeting minutes, assisting with interview scheduling, assist with job fairs, recruitment events, and other outreach activities, participate in the setup of events and campaigns in the Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool, respond to inquiries regarding job openings and application status and other administrative/tactical tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of related experience working in a TA Operations/Recruiting/HR role in a professional work environment.
• Experience utilizing applicant tracking and HR systems such as iCIMS, Taleo, Oracle HCM, and Equifax I-9 software.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
