Global Supply Chain Specialist (English/Korean)

LG Electronics is looking for a Global Supply Chain Specialist (English/Korean) to join our Customer Service Team!
POSITION SUMMARY:
LG Electronics, Alabama is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Global Supply Chain Specialist. Your role will be responsible for coordinating overseas sourcing of service parts by liaising with diverse foreign and local suppliers while ensuring timely material availability.
Traditionally, Supply Chain and procurement process are labor-intensive, but LG Electronics is beginning to modernize these practices through our company's focus on digital transformation. To drive this evolution, your role will play a pivotal part in projects centered around real-time market trend analysis, AI-driven demand forecasting, automated procurement systems, and evaluating supplier performance to help LG make more efficient business decisions.
This is a Bilingual (English/Korean) role - you must be fluent in reading, writing, preparing reports, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead global sourcing initiatives to introduce LG service parts on time and ensure availability of parts to meet customers' expectations.
• Lead projects to dramatically improve Supply Chain productivity and operational processes.
• AI-driven demand forecasting, overseas supplier management, negotiations, etc.
• Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, quality assurance, sales to ensure that procurement goals are aligned with organizational objectives.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in related field; job experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• Strong problem-solving skills, data-driven thinking, and positive attitude.
• Effective cross-functional communicator and excel on collaborative fast-paced teams.
• Interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive issues, ambiguous situations, and dramatic change.
• Strong skills and knowledge of statistics and quantitative data analysis.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Applications: Excel (Dashboard), PowerPoint, ChatGPT, and Copilot.
• Preferred Skills and Knowledge: SQL, Python, Power BI.
• Bilingual English and Korean.
