Role Description
We see the role driving a multi-phase plan to establish SE as a supplier of IA technology in the booming semiconductor/electronics market.
In the 1st Phase
Collaborating with the semicon segment, NAM Operations and leveraging B2B supply chain initiative, establish a presence and create some reference points for SE automation in Semicon, NAM.
The semicon segment team have experienced good Asian business for IA in facilities and utilities and we have a reference base for the same in Data Centers, Life Science and Battery plants. In line with Phase1 of our IA semicon strategy focusing on facilities & utilities you will develop a formula and network of companies to deliver reference projects in NAM and help local teams get established in this space.
You will link up with the SE Global Supply Chain B2B initiative, that uses its buying power and credibility as a world leader in sustainability and digital transformation, to persuade our top suppliers to deploy our technology. Specifically we focus on generating Industrial Automation business, sometimes using our sustainability and Energy Management capabilities as an entry point to penetrate a company.
Based in the US you will work closely with the local country sales teams to initially penetrate a target list of End User accounts and their supply chain companies. Besides generating some early reference projects you will help develop and prepare the local teams to continue to drive independently and then spread the learning beyond NAM.
Further, working with the strategy team and with learning from the early client engagement, you will be responsible for shaping phase 2 of the semicon/wider electronics market and then move to the execution phase.
In this role you will report to the VP for Industrial Segment Incubation and will be working daily with the GSC, ICOS, Digital Plant leadership, AVEVA, PA and the country sales organisations.
Your Responsibilities
To lead company B2B initiative in NAM, for strong IA potential accounts, supporting and driving the network of sales individuals owning the supply chain accounts.
Pursue non-owned accounts directly until live business opportunities and then gain VP support to own.
To drive orders and pipeline growth in semicon Segment with initial focus in Schneider Electric supply chain companies and ensure clear identification in bFO. (Salesforce.com)
To develop a strategy and plan to address longer term business growth in the wider semicon/E&E segment.
To collaborate with and develop country organisations for success in semicon/E&E, both with the End Users and the with the SI & OEM supply chain.
Actively monitor and report on the activity of competitors.
Personal awareness of development needs in-line with knowledge and skills required for the role.

Role Description

- Establish SE IA/Aveva in the facilities/utilities space in semicon, NAM.
- Use experience to develop a strategy and execution plan for others to follow in NAM, Europe, elsewhere and support them on it.
- Work with LoBs and newly developed customers to gain some SE reference applications on machines and equipment in the production area.
- Work with segment to develop a wider attack plan for production automation and drive to global geographies.
