Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Sales Support Representative to join our Global Sales Organization team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting the actions and contributing to the success of all sales initiatives that enable the Group Global Sales team to achieve budgeted revenue and form beneficial relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Daily activities could include support and problem resolution in a variety of areas - tracking, analyzing, reporting, systems, lead assignment or response, rate set up, research, hotel openings and conversions, organized sales initiatives and much more.
- Create and maintain effective tracking of leads, opportunities, account production, sales initiatives, and other measures of team performance.
- Assist in all processes as needed to uncover volume national account opportunities with Group Sales potential.
- Systems research, report creations and maintenance – CRM, Prospecting Tools, etc....
- Monitor and update requests in established queue systems for assistance needed.
- Respond and resolve partner requests in a timely manner.
- Opportunity presentation and follow up as needed.
- Ability to multi-task and redirect efforts as needed.
- Coordination of efforts – from beginning until end of process.
- Assess uncovered opportunities for extended stay potential and share with account owner or property/ properties as applicable.
- Assess leads shared for extended stay potential and share with account owner or property / properties as applicable.
- Assess uncovered opportunities for Group Sales potential and share with account owner or property/ properties as applicable.
- Assess leads shared for extended stay potential and share with account owner or property / properties as applicable.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of / ability to quickly learn sales systems and resources utilized – Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Construct Connect, Zoom Info, Cvent, Microsoft Office Products.
- Independent self-starter with the ability to achieve corporate business objectives
