Daiichi Sankyo Inc's Oncology Publications team within Global Oncology Medical Affairs (GOMA) is seeking a Publications Systems and Operations Intern to work closely with the Director of Publications Operations to optimize department resources for delivery of high-quality medical publications in an efficient and compliant manner. They will assist in the operation and governance of iEnvision, an internal global publications database system, as well as help develop needed training materials. This individual will be responsible for auditing the system, running metrics, and ensuring compliance with SOP and good publications practices. They should be technologically savvy and have an interest in tailoring existing departmental content to be more user friendly (think accessibility, templates, URLs, automation) to reduce the administrative burden of Publication Leads.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Under supervision, conduct internal iEnvision audits to ensure compliance with SOP and good publication practices, and confirming publication vendor services are delivered as expected per external party agreements
- Participate in discussions regarding enterprise-wide and individual user issues with the database
- Assists in internal efforts for enhancements, customization, and maintenance of the database
- Revamp existing departmental content to be more user friendly (think accessibility, templates, URLs, automation) to reduce the administrative burden of Publication Leads.
- Responsible for the updating of GOMA Publication Operations SharePoint site for the centralization of information
- Under supervision, help create metrics, reports, and dashboards as needed
- Schedule, track and facilitate trainings
- Assist with preparation of reports for Senior leaders
- May perform miscellaneous administrative tasks such as proof-reading documents

- Fluent in English
