Global Mobility Manager Austin Texas
The NXP Global Mobility Team consists of a Global Mobility Manager Americas, a Global Mobility Manager Europe/APAC and an Immigration Manager working closely together to ensure smooth processes for all international and US domestic local transfers/hires as well as short and long term expatriate assignments.
Your responsibilities:
  • First point of contact for HR, Recruitment, business managers and team members in your region, pro-actively advising on relocation packages and benefits, immigration requirements, timelines as well as the financial impact of such relocations for NXP and team member.
  • Maintain and manage the daily relationship between NXP and external vendors for Tax Services, Relocation Services, International Medical Insurance and Immigration Services to ensure high standard tailored Global Mobility service is provided to relocating team members that is efficient, responsive and cost-effective. This also includes having regular business reviews to review the agreed KPIs as well as arranging/checking invoicing.
  • Develop, implement, maintain and execute NXP's international relocation policies and guidelines including handling any exception management/tracking.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders like Corporate Tax, Export Control, Legal, Rewards and HR and Payroll specialists to ensure compliance and improve the knowledge and understanding in this area.
  • Create expatriate agreements and expat compensation sheets, including policy counseling to the team member. In close cooperation with Rewards and HR Ops assist with the execution of the expatriate merit and bonus cycles.
  • Provide detailed Mobility reporting and analysis on a regular basis to HR Leadership Team and Business Units.
  • Provide guidance on other Global Mobility topics like international remote work and (extended) business travel.

Requirements:
  • Work in office 3 days per week
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in a Global Mobility role required.
  • Knowledge about international compliance for relocating employees, i.e. immigration, tax, social security, and understanding the impact of international treaties and regulations, including data privacy and cyber security regulations
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skill set, detail-oriented, proven ability to work independently, with strong collaboration skills
  • Fluency in speaking/writing/reading English; other languages are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and diversity/inclusion and cultural sensitivity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to maintain accurate, detailed records
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and planning skills required
  • Ability to adapt to working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment maintaining flexibility
  • Knowledge of Excel/word and PowerPoint
  • Preferred knowledge of Workday/Mercer Data
