Key Responsibilities:
The Global Customer Engagement And Experience Director, Oncology is responsible for ownership of overarching External Customer Engagement and Experience strategy & execution primary realized through 5-6 Global Oncology Congresses - ASCO, EHA, ESMO, ASH, WCLC, IMS.
As global owner and chair of International Congress Governance Committee, this role leads co-development of 3-5 year strategy Global External Experience and Engagement Strategy.
With a passion for innovation & operational excellence this role is responsible for leading coordination of operationalizing this strategy at key congresses through the Congress Excellence Framework. Co-chairing the operating committee along with local congress lead (EMEA, US) for 5-6 International congresses, defining overarching congress objectives and narrative and ensuring red thread is delivered through each congress workstream result, enabling consistent experience for customers and employees regardless of jurisdiction.Education:
- BA/BS or Equivalent required, MA/MBA
Required:
- A minimum 10 years of related professional experience
- Experience leading and shaping organizational decision-making in a matrix organization
- Track record of rapidly establishing ways of working with evolving and transient team
- Strong leadership agility and demonstrated success solving ambiguous business challenges.
- Experience in communication/PR with strength in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations.
- Desire for continuous improvement and best practices sharing
- Experience in Agile working environments
- Marketing /communication/agency/strategy and operational experience
- 25% Travel percentage - National and international.
