In this position...

As a commissions/Compensation Analyst you will be responsible for assisting with the monthly commissions process, workflow management, and performing a variety of different analyses to drive the business. This position works collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, Revenue Operations and Sales to ensure commissions are executed with efficiency and accuracy.

What you'll do...

+ Administer all sales variable payments, including commissions, draws, MBOs, and SPIFFs in accordance with the monthly commission process for all commissionable employees.

+ Run analysis (SQL reports, excel) to compare variance at the time of termination.

+ Ensure accurate and timely distribution of individual sales compensation documents to a global sales organization

+ Understand and apply the commission plan consistently, ensuring commissions calculations comply with policies. Be able to understand the compensation program parameters/requirements and create formulas and processes that apply them to the data; work with HR/compensation team around program changes to determine how the program or changes can be implemented in the reporting processes

+ Participate in building a global sales compensation team, administering appropriate technologies, and incorporating best practices.

+ Support Sales leadership, Sales Operations, and Finance teams with compensation metrics and reporting

+ Create and document business processes for monthly/quarterly close, commission accounting tasks, and audits; perform monthly audits and data reviews to ensure commission accuracy.

+ Set up and maintain all commission plan participants, including new hires, terminations, and in-year and/or year-over-year changes.

+ Assist with ad-hoc sales finance analysis as required.

+ Proactively recommend and deliver process improvements.

+ Coordinate, prepare, and analyze documents for SOX requirements and audits.

+ Help meet SOX compliance by auditing bi-weekly commission statements and completing documentation for external auditors.

+ Utilize the Salesforce tool to research commission data that has been provide by the sales team, Manual data collection/integration

+ Ongoing tracking/audit trail - establishing reporting processes that allow review of past results and include audit trails of changes made to the process and underlying logic/formulas

+ Reporting - distribute results to participants (currently use an Alteryx job running on the server to do this). Provide summaries to managers; work with HR reps to confirm and prep for pushing results to payroll

+ Issue resolution - be able to work one-on-one with program participants and managers to provide details around a given outcome; analyze, anticipate, accommodate source data anomalies or report logic issues.

You'll have...

+ Bachelor's degree required

+ 3+ year's experience as a Compensation Analyst, preferably in a fast growing and dynamic SaaS business

+ Previous experience in an HR or finance-related field

+ SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or a compensation and benefits certification preferred

+ Previous experience and implementing GTM systems and processes from the ground up in, Salesforce, Alteryx, or similar data processing systems.

+ Experience with scaling up operations

+ Comfortable in aggregating and creating management level data and reports

+ Advanced expertise with MS Excel, Google Sheets, (some DB and SQL) along with previous revenue modeling experience

+ Able to deal with field sales personnel as a domain expert on all thing's revenue

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
