Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) is the global leader in sustainable solutions for evaporative cooling, thermal storage, and heat transfer equipment with headquarters located in Jessup, Maryland. The Global Business Process Leader - Manufacturing will be a crucial member of our Business Process Center of Expertise (COE), leading the continuous improvement of SAP and other related systems and processes.
POSITION PURPOSE
As the Manufacturing leader on the global COE, you will work closely with functional/regional leadership, the GBS functional and technical teams, and other Business Process COE leaders to drive continuous system improvement, consistency, and best practices across the Global Business.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the vision and improvement of world-class processes, including benchmarking and process optimization, to ensure consistency and best-practices across the Global Business.
  • Lead the global functional steering committee and work closely with Director - Business Process COE and Functional/Regional leadership to drive consensus and deployment of identified solutions. Requires the ability to influence across all levels and regions of the organization.
  • Lead the prioritization of enhancements and change requests, including preparation of business cases for major improvements. Participate in regional 'user group' meetings as needed to understand and guide these requests.
  • Work closely with the GBS functional and technical teams to create specifications for enhancements and change requests and monitor testing and training to ensure a high-level of quality.
  • Coordinate and support ongoing training efforts for end users as needed to ensure adoption of best practices.
  • Collect and prioritize major reporting and dashboard needs across the Global Business, as recommended by regional user groups and the steering committee.
  • Create KPIs to measure the achievement of goals related to the COE functional area, to ensure effective system adoption and value creation.
  • Lead data governance and master data management initiatives related to the COE functional area.
  • Support upgrades to new versions of SAP S4/C4 as they are released, evaluating and taking advantage of new functionality as appropriate.

ORGANIZATION AND LOCATION
The Global Business Process COE is a matrix organization. This role will report directly to the Director - Business Process COE, and will also work closely with the functional and regional leadership within the business.
This position can be located at any BAC facility worldwide.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience within the business function, preferably including global experience.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills
  • Aptitude for Business Process improvement and change management
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred, or other relevant ERP / business systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
