Role purpose:

This is a newly created role that is instrumental in the build-up and execution of our company’s Medical Cannabis program.

Reporting directly to the Category Head for cannabinoids, you will set up the proper operational model and commercial team for each of our markets and manage these daily. You will also work closely with the Brand & Insights and Product Development teams to build our portfolio of Medical Cannabis products and deliver these successfully to market.

Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Developing and executing our company’s Medical Cannabis Commercial strategy & business plans
  • Being accountable for the successful end-to-end definition and delivery of all projects within the program
  • Delivering our value proposition – inclusive of vision, concepts, and product proposition – to meet customer needs
  • Creating and maintaining commercial partners/distributors/agencies relationships and agreements, to support the specificities of each of our markets.
  • Take the lead in all sales-related activities for Medical Cannabis, achieving budgeted sales forecast.
  • Building, developing, and leading a high-performing team; setting goals, day-to-day management, and long-term development
  • Partner with Finance and Operations on forecasting activities, developing revenue targets, budgeting, and developing sales operations processes
  • Forging successful cross-functional teams (e.g. Life Sciences, Product, Consumer, and external partners)

About you?

You will be a strong commercial leader with direct experience in the Medical Cannabis market, and experience covering multiple geographies.

Ideally, you will have a demonstrable commercial and/or sales and marketing background, with experience in commercializing and successfully launching new products. You should also have experience in creating and fostering commercial partnerships
