What We Are Looking For

As a Global Account Manager at Sovos, you will have the opportunity to work with a global team, with help from around the world, to sell against a critical problem that customers need. Global Account Managers are responsible for successfully promoting and selling Sovos products to existing clients along with managing existing business in an emerging global market. This will be accomplished by developing and executing a well-rounded sales engagement strategy including prospecting and customer-centric sales process management. These individual’s will be successful in supporting of multiple Global Accounts with ARR over 1 million dollars or equivalent and accurately manages pipeline and meets/exceeds commits on a monthly/quarterly basis, while being able to identify, manage and develop large, complex sales cycles and opportunities and execute with high level of success of late-stage deals.  

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to increase sales opportunities  

  • Effectively sell and promote Sovos’ SaaS based products and services to new accounts in Financial and Insurance vertical 

  • Deliver profitable new business revenue growth in assigned territory while meeting and exceeding revenue targets and relevant quotas 

  • Grow and manage a balanced pipeline across assigned territory achieving new business revenue growth along with other assigned duties 

  • Effectively build a year over year track record of consistent performance and accountability using multiple sales approaches and managing complex sales into large enterprises 

  • Demonstrate a true passion for success with a relentless desire to win 

  • Provide accurate and detailed sales data in Salesforce.com 

  • Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders 

  • Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction 

  • Demonstrate initiative, drive, and determination to achieve results, success, and growth 

  • Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment to action 

  • Demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning 

Organizational Alignment 

  • Reports to Sales Director 

What we ask of you 

  • Successful history of corporate selling experience to large Financial Services Organizations; bonus points for experience selling SaaS based or outsourced services 

  • Demonstrated success selling large enterprise type ($250K+) opportunities with ability to navigate and manage complex sales cycles and relate and sell to Senior Executives 

  • Demonstrated proven targeting, prospecting, and closing skills while achieving or exceeding revenue quotas 

  • Experience with contact management systems, preferably Salesforce.com and proficiency in MS office suite of tool             

  • Willingness to travel moderately (less than 50%)  both domestic and international to Sovos locations and events 

    • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a drug test and background check upon hire
