Job description

The Vanderbilt Eye Institute is a multi-specialty academic ophthalmology practice with 72 clinical and research faculty members, state of the art facilities and equipment and multiple satellite offices to serve an annual patient volume in excess of 168,000. We promote a collegial environment with a collaborative and diverse culture that has enabled unprecedented growth.

We seek glaucoma faculty candidates who are clinical glaucoma fellowship-trained specialists and are certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology and an unrestricted Tennessee medical license. The position is open to matched glaucoma fellows with expected 2024 training completion, glaucoma fellowship graduates, or current practicing Glaucoma Specialists who have a desire to integrate a patient care practice with a demonstrated commitment to teaching medical students/residents/fellows and/or discovery in a multi-specialty academic setting. Clinical research opportunities facilitated by world-class informatics support are available, and participation is encouraged.
