Gis Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain GIS data and mapping resources with high accuracy and quality.
• Collaboratively work with teams within gWorks to integrate GIS with other software solutions.
• Provide sympathetic and effective customer support, guiding clients with a focus on their success.
• Engage in consistent learning of GIS technologies, contributing to the improvement of our offerings.
• Participate in project planning and execution, maintaining a steady, unhurried pace to deliver effective GIS solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in GIS, with a solid understanding of GIS principles and technologies.
• Proficiency in various GIS software and tools.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the capacity for complex data management.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• The ability to work collaboratively in both a team environment and client support role
• The ability to build relationships with clients and support GIS users with a broad range of abilities

Work Location and Arrangement:

• Hybrid work model for Omaha-Based Candidates, combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
• Full support for remote work from any location in the US for Remote Candidates.
