GIS Release Train Engineer

As a GIS Release Train Engineer for the SAFFIRE AGIS Team, you will be working closely with government product owners, business analysts, scrum masters, and various support teams to ensure that stakeholder needs are properly prioritized and executed. You will be a key member of the leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government's most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in GIS, Data Management, Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and SecDevOps.
Specific Responsibilities:

  • Summarize and Communicate team Program Increment Objectives
  • Coach GIS Scrum masters on Agile processes and foster Continuous Improvement
  • Remove and/or Escalate impediments to progress, and foster culture of continuous improvement
  • Communicate/Coordinate with External Stakeholders
  • Assist in the Development and Maintenance of Release Train Roadmaps and the Program Vision artifacts

Required:
  • Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance
  • Prior experience with Agile Development and/or Scrum
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to work with and lead a team
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding of all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle

Preferred:
  • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies
  • Agile certification
  • Technical background in Software Development, AI/ML, SecDevOps
  • Information Assurance certification (like Security+)
  • Experience with Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions
  • Experience delivering CI/CD Solutions in an automated SecDevOps environment
  • Domain experience in Imagery Analysis or Computer Vision

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$98,500.00 - $206,800.00
