YOU: Clear Creek School District athletics provides opportunities for participants as an extension of academics in a competitive and wholesome environment and will emphasize the promotion of citizenship, cooperation and work ethic in an interscholastic environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic, growth-mindset professional who has coaching experience for this specific team sport.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT: The successful candidate will be required to complete fingerprinting through an approved fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Instruct and work with student athletes to prepare them for competition.
Possess knowledge of rules, strategies, and techniques of sport.
Possess a thorough understanding of sports equipment, physical fitness, and safety.
CPR/ First Aid, Concussion Certification.
Dates & times may vary
EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma.
EXPERIENCE: Previous coaching experience or experience working with youth preferred
EXPECTATIONS:
Is flexible.
Has the ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers.
Has the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Has the ability to perform responsibilities without the necessity of close supervision.
Has the ability to effectively communicate with the school and school District community, as well as the public at large.
Has the ability to meet attendance standards and work the hours necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
Maintains a generally positive attitude.
Observes all District policies and procedures.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: CPR, First Aid, concussion certification.
