Gift Shop Cashier And Attendant

Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the Gift Shop Cashier and Attendant position is to provide routine retail cashiering services for cash and charge sales within the guidelines set by the Department with emphasis on customer service, speed of service and accuracy. Provides general assistance with the Gift Shop operations. May be assigned to work in other areas of Catering and Food and Nutrition Department as the business demands including duties as a Food Service Worker.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate is required. One (1) year of cash/charge handling experience required. Must have customer service and hospitality-oriented focus. Ability to handle cash and operate cash register. Knowledge of simple math and basic adding machine procedures. Ability to read, write and understand English fluently enough to perform the duties of the position. Ability to work effectively as a team member. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet standards and time demands.
