JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for assisting Gift Shop coordinator in all retail activities related to the Gift Shop including customer service, sales, volunteer training, inventory, ordering and stocking; sales/cash reconciliation and deposits.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school graduate or GED
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
One (1) year retail experience preferred.
Experience in paid or volunteer position where contact with the public was involved; experience in retail sales, such as gift, clothing or accessories, and business financial expertise preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Answers and directs phone calls.
2. Performs administrative functions related to Gift Shop as needed
3. Inventory control
4. Processing retail sales

Skill and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in-writing.
