NOVA Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Pensacola, FL team. We are looking for recent Civil Engineering graduates or Civil/Geotechnical Engineers to support our energy sector projects across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Developing geotechnical scopes of work, field logging, field inspections, field investigations, and overseeing drill rig operations
- Geotechnical calculations, and preparation of reports
- Responsible for preparing project proposals, managing projects, and interfacing directly with clients
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of civil/geotechnical engineering experience
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required
- Must have an EIT license in the US and/or be able to attain licensure within 3 months
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent project management skills and leadership ability
- Self-sufficiency and willingness to travel throughout the US with a home base in Pensacola, FL
