About AQUALIS' Engineering Services
The Engineering Services Division of AQUALIS specializes in sustainable water design, including stormwater management, green infrastructure/drainage design and hydraulic analysis. We follow our passion of water quality, flood reduction, and community improvements, with like-minded professionals in a motivating and mission-driven team.
Where do you fit in?
We are seeking aGeotechnical Engineer with 8+ years of experience as a licensed professional engineer with previous project management and design experience.The Geotechnical Engineer will report directly to the EVP of Engineering Services and work in a team environment. Excellent communication skills are required. The successful candidate must be organized as they assist with ensuring schedule and budget needs are adhered to throughout the various projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of projects from concept design to construction administration.
  • Develop and manage budgets for projects, including identifying need for and developing change orders.
  • Provide technical support to junior engineers throughout the duration of a project.
  • Assist in proposal development with scope and fee preparation.
  • Provide excellent customer service with frequent communications and project updates.
  • Participate in team activities including cross-training, staff meetings, brainstorming round table, and mentoring.

Position Requirements
  • 8+ years of Engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or other relevant/equivalent degree.
  • Current and active Professional Engineering license; must be in good standing.
    Minimum of 1+ years of Project Management and design experience.
  • Experience and knowledge with various soils as they pertain to drainage systems, water quality, and stormwater control devices, hydraulic analysis, FDM design standards, DOT PS&E (Plan, Specifications, & Estimates), site and roadway design, and project quality processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
