Job Description:Description: Job Summary and Job Purpose: Develop, manage, and refine proprietary solutions built on the ESRI Enterprise and SQL Server platforms. While working with your team, deploy and manage the ESRI Enterprise GIS system, deliver client-facing GIS applications, and streamline internal data collection workflows. 3 years of direct experience, be solutions-focused Have a team-oriented attitudeShall be cleared at the TOP SECRET level with SCI eligibilityShall perform installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems within the enterprise GIS architectureHave 5 years of progressive experience performing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software required for MS and LINUX operating systems At least 2 years of experience within the past three years Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, VMWare, Linux server software, and have knowledge on network storageShall be proficient in administering and deploying geospatial applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product developmentShall be proficient in administering and deploying enterprise level open source and commercial of the shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of Intelligence organizationsShall possess strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of effectively directing subordinates.The Geospatial Systems Specialist is required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01. Expertise in the Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and the Environment (SDSFIE), Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata, and the FGDC Geospatial Positioning Accuracy StandardsExperience utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applicationsA valid state issued driver’s license is required.BA/BS in Cartography, Geography, Geomatics, Surveying or other technical degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.SALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: AA/AS in Cartography, Geography, Geomatics, Surveying or other technical discipline from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.SDepartment of Education with an additional two (2) years of experience in the functional duties; OR High School Diploma/GED with an additional four (4) years of experience in the functional dutiesFour (4) years of experience as an GIS AnalystThis position is subject to a criminal history background check and Wants/Warrants check.? Fix, Finish, Exploit, and Analyze Targeting methodology.Have 8 years of progressive experience with operational and tactical level intelligence performing complex and timely geospatial, topographic, and imagery analysis techniques and methods of ground feature and remotely sensed data, to include general experience in the fields of targeting, collection, and geospatial methodologies to solve complex intelligence problemsShall demonstrate proficiency in geospatial and intelligence data management within a variety of OGC compliant applications and databases.
