Form of workClient is expanding the surgical service due to increased volume. We are looking for (2) two Suregons (General Surgery) with current Washington Medical license.
Details:
General Surgery procedures including colorectal and small bowel; limited to ED and inpatient - no elective surgeries; approximate mix historically - Gallbladder 45%, Appendix 23%, Incision and Drainage 13%, Exploratory Lap 8%, Hernia 5%, other 11% (no upper/lower scopes - GI service takes covers)
May include patients in the ICU but also includes patients in the Med/surg or who present to the ED and operated on and then discharged
Will see Pediatric patients for appendectomies
Rounding on General Surgery patients; level 3 trauma center designation; General Surgeons respond to full trauma activations
This provider will work a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule shift 1 is 6am-4pm, 1 shift is 12pm-10pm
