Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced General Sales Manager for the largest Harley Davidson dealership in Texas. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a high-energy self-starter who is passionate about the motorcycle business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, with responsibilities including recruiting, hiring, daily training, traffic log focus, and community outreach.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage a high-performing sales team
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue and meet dealership goals
- Oversee daily operations of the sales department, including inventory management, customer relations, and sales reporting
- Focus on maintaining accurate traffic logs and maximizing sales opportunities
- Lead community outreach initiatives to enhance the dealership's presence and reputation
- Collaborate with other department managers to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to remain competitive in the market
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management within the motorcycle industry, preferably with Harley Davidson
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success in driving sales and exceeding targets
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dealership operations and best practices
- Experience with traffic log management and CRM systems is a plus
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Valid driver's license and motorcycle endorsement preferred
