Jerry Seiner Casa Grande seeks an experienced and results-oriented General Sales Manager to lead our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in automotive sales management, team building, and possess a comprehensive understanding of dealership variable operations. The successful candidate will be pivotal in achieving sales objectives, creating a positive workplace culture, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the sales team to achieve sales objectives and maximize profitability.
- Utilize expertise in dealership variable operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee new and used vehicle inventory management, ensuring optimal day supply, turn rate, and effective pricing strategies.
- Utilize automotive tools such as V-Auto and Dealersocket for improved decision-making.
- Conduct comprehensive automotive sales consultant training programs.
- Motivate and train the management team, focusing on successful Internet lead conversion.
- Drive daily/weekly sales objectives and maintain an active presence in customer interactions.
- Provide daily coaching and effectively use CRM tools to manage the sales floor and sales consultants.
- Ensure the team achieves the minimum daily appointments required for sales forecast success.
- Create a positive workplace culture that encourages teamwork, integrity, and high energy.
- Implement employee longevity strategies and address marketing, inventory, training, hiring processes, and communication challenges.
- Set clear expectations and train the team on accomplishing monthly sales forecasts.
- Identifies and creates effective store processes, continuously updating them as necessary to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales management
- 3-5 years of experience in training automotive sales consultants.
- A proven track record of substantial growth within a dealership.
- Demonstrated success in result-driven team building with verifiable references.
- In-depth understanding of dealership variable operations.
- Experience in new and used vehicle inventory management, including day supply, turn rate, reconditioning, and pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in using automotive tools such as V-Auto and Dealersocket.
- Motivational leadership skills with documented references.
- Successful Internet lead conversion experience.
- Proven ability to accomplish daily/weekly sales objectives.
- Active engagement with customers daily.
- Proficient in managing sales floor and sales consultants through daily coaching and CRM usage.
- Focus on achieving minimum daily appointments required to meet sales forecast.
- Leadership qualities that foster a culture of teamwork, integrity, good character, and high energy in the showroom.
- Demonstrated ability to create a culture of employee longevity.
