General Production (Assembly, Testing, Packaging) 1St Shift 7:00Am - 3:30Pm

JOB SUMMARY:

The General Production Associate will take part in the assembly, testing, inspection, and shipping of Tark products. This is a 1st shift role (7:00am – 3:30pm) Monday – Friday.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for basic production including

• Mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, and blueprints
• Quality testing via pressurized flow testing and submerged weld leak testing
• Final inspection for visual and mechanical defects prior to shipping
• Shipping and receiving of Tark products and subcomponents
• Job kitting / production material support
• Reporting and data collecting
• Ensure safety and quality standards of product and employees are always met

All other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager or General Production Lead including, but not limited to

• Machining products (grinders, CNC, sanders, Etc.)
• Inventory
• R&D projects
• Cleaning and maintenance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mechanical aptitude – ability to learn and read mechanical drawings, prints, procedures, etc.
• Previous experience working with hand tools is a plus, not required
• Comfortable with basic math skills
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and accountable for results
• Works well with others, great team player, and handles conflict/change with an open mind
• Willingness to bring forward continuous improvement ideas and implement them where applicable
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (exposure to sounds, smells, and machinery)
• Ability to lift, pull, and torque up to 20lbs consistently
• Fine motor manipulation with fingers, hands, and arms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
