General Office Clerk
Job Summary
Brentwood Originals in Youngstown, Ohio is seeking an experienced General Office Clerk. The General Office Clerk is responsible for bills of lading, invoices, and orders. The ideal candidate must be a quick study. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment with accuracy being of utmost importance. If you have billing-related experience, apply today! - The schedule will be M-F 7:30AM to 4:00PM with some overtime. Candidate must be dependable, reliable, and willing to work Saturdays, plus overtime, when required during peak months.
- Candidates must maintain an acceptable attendance and tardiness record based on the company’s Attendance Policy.
Responsibilities
· Verify bills of lading, invoices, and orders
· Prepare bills of lading for outbound shipments. Ensure that correct carrier, NMFC code, pieces, weight, customer purchase order/s, and Feit reference number/s are included.
· Maintain necessary files and documentation.
· Establish and maintain good working relationships with manufacturing, co-workers, and other office personnel.
· All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
· Familiarity with bills of lading/shipping process
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Strong communication skills
- Extremely detailed-oriented
· Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
· Ability to work independently and as a member of a team once training is complete
· AS400 experience a plus
