About Us

Top Rail Fence is a locally owned and operated fence installation company located in Dallas, TX. Top Rail Fence has various local and national partnerships including home builders, general contractors, and home improvement chains.

Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent communication skills, experience in budgeting and P&L management, and experience managing subcontractors. The General Manager will be expected to develop relationships with both national and local suppliers and vendors.

This role will manage the day-to-day activities of within the local market including:

- Developing expert knowledge in relevant areas:

• Fencing products
• Technical aspects of the fence industry

- Overseeing daily operations of the business including but not limited to:

• Installations
• Product Order fulfillment
• Office functions

- Conducting continuing education and training of subcontractors and staff.

- Maintaining quality control of installations.

- Performing other duties as assigned by the owner.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Customer service and relationship-building skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, Quickbooks, and CRM software

• Valid Driver’s License

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Experience working in the trades, specifically in the fencing industry, highly preferred but not required.
