General Manager (Gm)

Established in 1948, Western Fence is a highly recognized, award-winning fence company, proudly serving the great state of Utah. We provide our clients with privacy and protection through the installation of chain-link, wood, vinyl, ornamental fences, and specializing in custom fabrication and gate automation. Understanding that clients may have unique needs, Western Fence collaborates with customers, industry partners and experienced professionals to provide the right product in every situation. We are seeking a motivated individual to step into the role of General Manager at our Hurricane Branch and lead our team of experienced fencing professionals to even greater heights of success.

As the General Manager at our Hurricane Branch, you will be at the center of our thriving organization, driving strategies and tactics to ensure every project is completed with unparalleled efficiency and precision. With a focus on innovation and delivering exceptional workmanship, you will empower our team members to achieve the highest quality standards.

What Will You Do?

• Lead with confidence and excellence, providing sales, marketing, customer service, and production while also recommending solutions that increase effectiveness and efficiency while ensuring results meet or exceed traditional quality standards.
• Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.
• Provide guidance and constructive feedback, nurturing each team member’s growth and success.
• Elevate customer satisfaction, ensuring every stage of each project exceeds expectations.
• Collaborate in the sales process, enhancing accuracy, competitiveness, and salesmanship to achieve remarkable results.
• Position the branch for unprecedented profitability and growth, setting new industry standards.
• Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas.
• Attend industry events, trade shows and networking events to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to make informed decisions to drive business growth.
• Maintain professionalism of all employees and respond immediately to employee issues and customer needs.

Requirements:

· A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

· Must have a minimum of 3 years sales experience or fence construction management experience - NO EXCEPTIONS

· Successful background check

· Reliable transportation to and from the shop

· Attention to detail and quality

· Strong organization and time management skills

· Prior experience within the fence and/or construction industry

· Several years of supervisory experience

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, and various computer software to drive data-driven decisions.

Wage is $75,000-$90,000 based on experience level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
