Job Purpose or Summary:
You are the ideal General Manager / Administrator who is eager to lead and coach the operations team to upholding the high standards of the Home Care Assistance brand. Your thoughtfulness and assertiveness build trust among your colleagues and clients, leading to company growth and better outcomes for all involved.
From implementing new business strategies to visiting our senior clients, your organizational skills are crucial to successfully overseeing multiple projects and long-term goals. With a culture of ownership, teamwork, and solution focused thinking, you will meet with each operations team member weekly to give recognition, instruction, and consequences, including breaking down next steps to accomplish an overarching goal.
As General Manager / Administrator, your integrity and determination will make you an excellent, local face of the business, serving as an important point of contact for clients, employees, the Agency for Health Care Administration, and the broader community. You will enable the operations team to exceed state regulations through your ability to create and improve systems as well as your attention to detail.
Your flexibility and availability is appreciated by our clients and employees during regularly scheduled On Call rotations for nights, weekends and holidays. You will report to Rachel Aguanno, VP and co-owner. As a company, we strive to provide older adults with quality care that enables them to live happier, healthier lives at home. Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Implements strategies to increase client admissions, retention and satisfaction
Identifies and assesses internal and external issues that affect the operation
Manages the operations team including overseeing scheduling, caregiver recruitment, client satisfaction, sales, and company culture
Participates in the development of the annual strategic plan with a focus on creating attainable revenue, gross profit, operating income, and client growth objectives
Ensures monthly and quarterly financial results meet or exceed goals
Provides effective and efficient oversight of Care Management with optimal customer service, satisfaction and client retention
Recruits, interviews and selects staff possessing appropriate technical and professional skills to help further the goals of the operation
Ensures AHCA regulations are followed
Identifies and evaluates the risks to the company’s clients, staff and the integrity of the brand.
Maintains a billing and collection process to ensure timely receivables
Works in conjunction with the business owner to meet and exceed sales targets.
Represent the organization at community activities to enhance the organization's community profile and further business development
Provide after-hours support during evening, weekends and holidays as determined by the On Call schedule

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Previous experience in health care management, preferably in home care to elders
Demonstrated organizational skills, flexibility, assertiveness and team orientation
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or similar experience
Ability to work independently
Excellent verbal, written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel and G Suite
