Bianca, a large, fine-dining restaurant in one of Boston's most desirable suburbs is seeking a passionate, thoughtful and strategic leader to join their team as General Manager. Bianca is the modern American woodfire restaurant in Chestnut Hill, MA that is a part of the Cushman Concepts Group, owned and operated by award winning Chef Tim Cushman and Nancy Cushman. They also own o ya, a small acclaimed Japanese restaurant in downtown Boston and Hojoko, a rolicking izakaya-inspired restaurant and bar in the Fenway neighborhood.
Ideal candidates for this important position bring a passion for the industry and possess a genuinely positive attitude and inherent sense of urgency. Experience with high levels of hospitality, restuarant financials, scheduling to volume, beverage service and training will be important assets.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day operation and success of the restaurant, focusing on peak volume times.
- Ensure the financial health of the restaurant by driving revenue, managing labor and cost of goods.
- Think strategically about the restaurant to continue to evolve and improve.
- Create regulars through creative hospitality with the end goal of surprise and delight.
- Coach and train managers and line staff to uphold service standards.
- Work collaboratively with events and marketing teams to drive sales and volume
Previous Restaurant Management experience required.
