Job Title: General Manager
Location: Covington, LA
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (with potential bonus of $10,000 - $15,000 based on meeting business goals)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our kids recreational facility in Covington, LA. As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our facility's operations and ensuring the highest standards of customer service and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all facets of the facility's day-to-day operations, including staffing, customer service, facility maintenance, and financial performance.
- Supervise a large team of staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals and objectives, including revenue targets, customer retention, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Work closely with the management team to develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives to drive revenue growth and increase brand awareness.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Work a minimum of 50 hours per week, including weekends (every Saturday and Sunday), to oversee facility operations and events.
- Manage up to 50-80 staff members at various points, ensuring effective delegation of tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving business goals and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience overseeing facility maintenance and repairs is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed to meet business needs.
- Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards related to recreational facilities is desirable.
