General Manager

Chesapeake Home Services, LLC. is looking for a leader to join the team in the role of General Manager. The right candidate will be responsible for sales, operations, personnel management, and achieving or exceeding revenue and profit goals. As a rapidly growing company, the General Manager will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives to further the company’s goals.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Recruit, hire, train personnel (field & office)
• Manage day-to-day operations
• Directly manage Sales, Installation, and Office teams
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of P&L and balance sheet statements
• Uphold company’s Core Values
• Help formulate and implement the strategic plan for the company and work with all levels of the company to execute
• Develop and maintain a yearly marketing plan and budget
• Maintain consistent structured training programs covering: Technical, Customer relations, Sales/Sales leads, Processes & SOP’s
• Maintain awareness of the external competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customer satisfaction, markets, new industry developments and standards
• Ensure daily huddles are consistent and productive across all departments
• Establish and maintain one-on-one meetings with lead personnel
• Manage all requests for pay increases or changes to compensation for all employees
• Maintain acceptable net profit margins
• Manage and maintain a clear understanding of company software
• Creating, communicating, and implementing the mission and overall direction.
• Communication direction on a level that make all employees feel like they are a part of something bigger.
• Synchronize workload and workforce to best maximize profits

Qualifications:

• 5+ years managing multiple teams/company
• Industry Experience (Plumbing & HVAC Service & Installation)
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field – preferred
• 5+ years of profit and loss experience
• Elevated level of organization
• Excellent listening, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
