JOB DESCRIPTION

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all departments and operations of the facility, including guest services, reservations, locker room attendants, cleaning attendants, therapy attendants, pool attendants, inventory, massage therapists, restaurant staff, and laundry staff. The role involves leading and managing a team to ensure the successful execution of operations, service standards, and business goals while maximizing guest and employee satisfaction and financial performance.

The key responsibilities of the General Manager include:

• Leading the Guest Services Team: As the standard-bearer of the company culture, the General Manager should promote and embody the established company culture. They will lead, influence, and encourage team members, build mutual trust and cooperation, and serve as a role model. The General Manager will supervise and manage employees, communicate performance expectations, and celebrate team successes.
• Maintaining Guest Services: The General Manager will strive to achieve and exceed goals, manage daily operations to meet customer expectations, develop specific goals and plans, and ensure the Bathhouse location team is focused on driving guest satisfaction and financial results. They will conduct department meetings, review staffing levels, manage expenses, and understand the impact of each department on overall financial goals.
• Managing Activities: The General Manager will identify and address the developmental needs of team members, establish challenging and realistic goals, solicit employee feedback, ensure fair and equitable treatment, administer performance appraisals, accountable for facility financials and optimize for greater performance and participate in the hiring process. They will also perform other duties as requested by leadership.

DESIRED SKILLS

The desired skills for this role include a high school diploma or GED with five years of experience in guest services or a related field. Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, with three years of experience in guest services or a related field, is acceptable.

The compensation and benefits offered for this full-time position include a salary range of $90,000 to $125,000 per year. The General Manager will also receive full health insurance and other voluntary benefits, free unlimited admission to Bathhouse for themselves and a plus one, and a 50% discount on services, products, and the restaurant.
