SalaryWasteConnections is looking to hire a General Laborer Helperat our hauling site in Alexandria, LA. The position will be responsible for helping the driver of a garbage truck on specific routes to manually collect solid waste. Daily work will involve heavy industrial lifting, lifting waist high, gripping with hands, moving at a brisk consistent pace, and occasional bending. This position is very physical and works outside in all weather conditions.
Pay rate is between $15-16/hr., we offer family benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, vacation, and year-round work.
Requirements:
- Be able to lift 50+ lbs throughout an 8+ hour shift.
- Must be able to work in a very fast paced position in all weather conditions.
