SalaryWe are looking for a competent Construction Worker to work on swimming pool installation projects. You will report directly to our construction manager and perform a variety of tasks throughout the completion of each job. This position is a great opportunity to advance with our growing company.
Responsibilities
- Assist tradesmen and machine operators in construction projects
- Unload and carry materials at construction sites
- Manual labor includes, but not limited to, raking, shoveling, and digging
- Smooth and level new concrete or other materials
- Clean out site from debris and discarded materials
Skills
- Experience in operating equipment like drills, saws, etc.
- Experience operating excavators and skid steers preferred
- Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material (concrete, sand, grout etc.)
- Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods
- Able to work in a team
- Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed
- Self starting and highly motivated to complete jobs in a timely manner
- Problem solving capabilities and the ability to adapt to unexpected hurdles
- Masonry work experience a plus
- CDL is a huge plus with an increase in pay rate
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
