The General Laborer will be responsible for completing the following job duties:
- Assembly, inspection, sorting, packaging, housekeeping, and any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
- Some assignments include painting nozzles and engraving
- Maintains a clean work area. This includes putting things away at the end of the day and/or when the job is complete such as tools, parts, etc.
- Regular attendance.
- Responsible for following agency safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, program participants, co-workers and supervisors.
High School Diploma/GED required. No prior experience or training. Must be able to count, manipulate small pieces for inspection and/or packaging, and ability to visually inspect pieces to spot flaws to maintain quality control based on customer specifications.
- Works safely so as not to cause injury to yourself or others.
- Follow all directions regarding safety, quality, production, etc.
- Able to operate pallet jack, 2 wheel dollies, and carts safely as needed.
