POSITION SUMMARY:
Support production line process by monitoring product flow and code date, loading tunnel, packing cartons, palletizing finished product and maintaining packaging needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Push and check bars.
- Dump particulates and variegate.
- Provide packaging material for production lines.
- Perform packaging duties, i.e. packing, palletizing.
- Clean production areas (floors) and remove trash/debris.
- Ensure product/packaging quality and accuracy (codes).
- Follow all GMP policies.
- Conduct sanitation according to sanitation procedures including sanitation critical control records.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

PPE and training are provided to eliminate/reduce the risk of harm. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
The pay scale for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The pay scale disclosed below has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The pay scale for employees currently in this role is $17.03 per hour. A good faith estimate of the range the company will pay for successful applicants for the current opening is $17.03 per hour.
