Form of workJOB SUMMARY: Provide General Clerk II support including a variety of work assignments for the Indian Health Service, Office of Environmental Health & Engineering (OEHE) Field Office.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Responsible for archiving, scanning, uploading files and documents into STARS in accordance to the approved File Disposition Plan.
- Assist other staff in their duties that may include customer service in the form of answering the telephone and receiving customers who call or visit the office to discuss business and/or obtain general information.
- Responsible for accomplishing the processing of a variety of materials such as memoranda, letters, reports, and forms. Individual shall utilize word processing software and personal computers to type from handwritten, typed material or from voice recording material with an emphasis on spelling, grammatical construction, paragraphing, punctuation, style and clarity.
- Responsible for preparing and distributing mail, collecting mail, and preparing and updating project folders and participant folders.
- Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of reporting requirements within the databases of STARS (Sanitation tracking and Reporting System), including Service Request (SR), Project Data System(PDS), and Home Inventory Tracking System (HITS), as established by the Sanitation Facilities Construction (SFC) program.
- Perform light housekeeping and other relevant duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
