The General Claims Adjusterearns competitive compensation from $21-$24/hr*
This is a REMOTE position unless residing within 50 miles of St. Peters, MO.
What You Will Do in This Role
- Answer phones in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Review and be able to explain contract coverage terms and conditions.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Adjudicate claims according to coverage terms and standard operating procedures.
- Document files to include all key activities of the adjudication process and coverage determination.
- Provide accurate and timely information to all external and internal customers concerning claim status and other claim inquires.
- Recommend further action on claims exceeding authority limits.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of new employees as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Basic knowledge of: Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Microsoft Excel); Contract Management Systems; Word Processing Software (Microsoft Word); Electric Mail Software (Microsoft Outlook).
- The ability to hardwire your computer to a router or ethernet jack.
- Internet speed a minimum of 50 MBps download and 10 MBps upload.
Required Education/Certifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Two years automotive mechanical experience and/or training as a Service Advisor, Service Manager, Tech, or Mechanical Claims Adjuster required.
