Primary Responsibilities
In the role of General BIM Specialist 1, we'll count on you to:
- Working closely with Project Manager and Project Engineer on a daily basis.
- Supporting the design and production of coastal and civil site design documents related to site development for various types of projects including habitat restoration, navigation channel improvements, shoreline protection, and more.
- Supporting the development of full sets of construction drawings in Civil 3D.
- Creating and managing plan sets using HDR CAD standards.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree related to C3D drawing production (or related experience in place of an Associate's degree).
- Minimum 3 years of applied experience in the field of drafting
- AutoCAD and Civil3D Proficiency
- A strong understanding of design concepts including earthwork, surface, site grading, etc.
- Possess strong communication and coordination skills, and self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Navisworks, Microstation, and InRoads experience.
